This core business manages assets of €160 million, split between several French innovation and regional investment funds targeting individual investors as well as foreign funds reserved for international institutional investors.

Investment strategy

  • Exclusively oriented towards venture capital, with investments made at various stages of maturity: from start-ups to companies having already reached a certain stage of their development,

  • Geographic coverage that includes France and the rest of Europe, but also the United States;

  • An approach focused on biotechnologies and, in particular:
    - New markets in chemistry and developments in organic therapeutics,
    - Innovative diagnostic tools and biomaterial engineering applications,
    - Pharmaceutical packaging and formulation,
    - “Cleantech” linked to biotechnologies.

  • The intention to support portfolio companies over the long term, while maintaining a diversified range of investments: the initial investment in each company is generally around €1-2 million, rising to at most €10 million following subsequent financing rounds.

  • Ipsogen – This “cancer profiler” develops and markets diagnostic tests for blood and breast cancers (www.ipsogen.com)

  • GenomeQuest – Develops and markets genome sequence data management software (www.genomequest.com)

  • Force A – Develops optical sensors to facilitate improvements in agricultural yields and assist with real-time crop management and the control of chemical entrants (www.force-a.eu)
