Expansion Capital - Eastern Europe
This core business manages more than €150 million on behalf of well-known French and foreign investors. The investment teams based in Bucharest, Paris and Warsaw have a combined 70 years experience in expansion capital in Eastern Europe. They are currently investing via the SGAM Eastern Europe Fund, which was raised in 2007.
Expansion capital / capital transmission transactions involving medium-sized companies in Eastern European and, more particularly, in new European Union member countries (Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovenia, the Baltic States, Bulgaria, and Hungary), and in candidate countries (Croatia and Serbia);
Working as an active shareholder, either individually or alongside other investors, with company managers to assist with their growth and development plans;
Individual equity holdings of between €10 million and €20 million.
